A quote for repairs may vary depending on the type, location and severity of damage. Cosmetic damage will likely be less than £500 whereas structural damage meaning the car is not suitable for use may cost over £1000.
If you are the owner of the vehicle, then you have the right to choose where it is repaired after an accident. Your insurance provider may advise you to use certain mechanics but, in most cases, it is your choice.
